Lyra AI allowances reset each month (on your billing date on Solo). Questions on Free and Solo cover retests and due dates, such as “which clients are due next month?”. Reaching an allowance pauses only that Lyra AI feature: testing, tagging, certificates and your records keep working, and you can always type details or match columns yourself. Pro has no monthly count; a fair-use limit applies.

Koalaris vs a spreadsheet

A spreadsheet is free, until a re-test date slips or a client asks for proof. Koalaris keeps the register live, works out re-test dates, builds the certificate and lets clients check for themselves.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Every business starts on Free, with no card and no end date. Free has 2 team seats and unlimited items, clients and sites, with the offline field app, instant test tags, certificates with your logo and the client portal. Upgrade to Solo or Pro when you want invoicing, card payments or your team.

Is there a record limit on Free?

No. Free has no limit on items, clients or sites, and no time limit. What Free doesn't include is invoicing, card payments, Xero, extra team seats and the larger Lyra AI allowances, and Free certificates carry a small "Made with Koalaris" line. Those are what Solo and Pro add.

Is there a free trial of Pro?

No, there is no trial: Free never ends, so you can try Koalaris on real jobs for as long as you like. Free includes a small Lyra AI allowance so you can try that too.

Are prices in Australian dollars?

Yes. All prices are in AUD per month, per business; New Zealand businesses pay the same numbers in NZ dollars. No GST is charged, because Koalaris is not registered for GST.

What if my team is bigger than 5?

Stay on Pro and add team seats for $15 each a month. There is no separate plan for bigger teams. For more than 15 people, talk to us.

Is there a limit on clients or sites?

No. Every plan includes unlimited clients, and each client can have as many sites as it needs, such as a childcare group with several centres.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Your admin can upgrade from the Upgrade page in the app at any time, and your records carry straight over. To move down a plan, cancel on the billing page or get in touch. If a paid plan ends, your business goes back to Free and keeps every record.

Can I use Koalaris in New Zealand?

Yes. AS/NZS 3760 is a joint Australian and New Zealand standard, so the register, field app, tags, certificates and client portal work the same. New Zealand businesses pay the same prices in NZ dollars, invoice with 15% GST in NZD, and take card payments into their own NZ Stripe account.

What Lyra AI do I get on Free?

Each month: 10 rating-plate scans, 5 "What's due?" questions and a starter allowance of spreadsheet import. Enough to see what Lyra AI does on your own records.

What Lyra AI do I get on Solo?

Each month: 30 rating-plate scans, 500 rows of spreadsheet import (Metrel, WinPATS, PATGuard, CSV or XLSX) and 20 "What's due?" questions about retests and due dates, such as "which clients are due next month?". Certificates also carry a short plain-English summary of the results. Service report drafts, full compliance summaries and questions about invoices or the rest of your business are on Pro.

What happens when I reach a Solo allowance?

You get a notice when you have used 80% of an allowance. At 100%, only that Lyra AI feature pauses until your next billing date, when the allowances reset. Testing, tagging, certificates and your records keep working, and you can type details in or match import columns yourself. To keep using Lyra AI straight away, upgrade to Pro.

Is Lyra AI unlimited on Pro?

Pro has no monthly count on rating-plate reading, imports or questions. A fair-use limit applies to stop misuse; it is set well above what a test and tag business normally uses.

Can my clients see my pricing?

No. Client logins show their register, history, certificates and requests. Never your prices or invoices.

Do clients pay for the portal?

No. Client logins are free on every plan.
