Questions, answered plainly.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The field app runs on your phone with no signal. Results are saved on the phone and sync when you are back in range.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Koalaris runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer and works alongside the tester you already use. Record results in the field app, or import your tester's export file and Lyra AI loads it into the register. For tags, use the label printer you have: Koalaris prints straight to a Zebra ZQ520 or ZQ521 or a Godex RT200 over Bluetooth, and to a Brother or any other label printer through the print dialog.
Is it easy to learn?
Yes. The first time you sign in, a short welcome tour walks you through a full test on a practice café, from finding the item to printing the tag and finishing the visit. Nothing on the practice visit is saved, and you can replay the tour or practise again any time from Account. Each screen also shows a short tip the first time you open it.
Can I take card payments on my phone?
Yes, today by QR code: show your client a QR code on your phone and they pay by card on their own phone, straight into your own Stripe account. Tap to Pay, where your client taps their card on the back of your phone, is in early access. Email hello@koalaris.com to join and we will tell you the day it is ready.
